"About US"

Harvey Narum started the business in Walla Walla, Washington in 1967, as a sole proprietorship, with his wife Maxine doing the bookwork. Harvey has very few tools or equipment buts lots of determination. His brother came to work for him in 1970, so with his sons and brother the business continued to grow. Harvey became ill in 1979, and died in the fall of 1980. After his death one son, David, left for college, the other two sons Wayne and Richard along with their mother continued with the business. Each year the business continued to grow, enlarging the scope of work along with the purchase of new equipment. We expanded further in 1985 by adding concrete pumping to our services. The company Incorporated in the State of Washington on November 4, 1985 and is now licensed in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Pennsylvania.

The Narum family has always strived for high quality on all our work and this been our motto for the past 46 years. Our architectural tunnels, tilt-wall panels, pre-cast fish ladders, super flat floor slabs for warehouses reflect our efforts. We understand the importance of layout, elevations and dimensions for footings, foundations, columns, welments, and many other aspects.

We have over 20 year round employees, many whom have been with us for almost 20 years. The all have current CPR/AED, Industrial First Aid Cards as well as OSHIP Hour classes. Our concrete pumps and cranes are recertified annually and DOT inspected.

Over the past 46 years we have been involved in many projects from residential, commercial and industrial. We still do the residential footings, foundations, patios, driveways, pool decks, but have enlarged to commercial/industrial with sewage treatment plants, water treatment plants, sub stations, cell tower foundations, schools, wineries, processing plants, control atmosphere warehouses, fish ladders, and wind turbine foundations. We are currently working on Wind Turbines, Wineries and a Church Parish House.
